High School Student Opportunities

UTEP Geological Sciences Colloquium

We invite high school students to showcase their research at our upcoming Annual Geological Sciences Colloquium! This is an excellent opportunity to share your work, gain valuable feedback, and connect with peers and professionals. Whether you're working on a project, thesis, or innovative idea, this is your chance to shine and inspire others. All STEM topics are welcome, and we encourage you to participate in this supportive and engaging academic community.

  • Colloquium Date: April 3-4, 2025 (Students only need to attend on their presentation day.)
  • Location: Geological Sciences Building, UTEP
  • Parking: Permits will be sent out the week of. 
 
  • Abstract Submission Deadline: March 7, 2025, 11:59 PM
  • Abstract Submission: Students need to submit an abstract at: https://form.jotform.com/250265600015140
  • Presentation Category: There are two options, Individual and Group. There is a limit of 4 students for the Group category.
